See What’s New from medViron at Healthcare Design Conference + Expo 2026
MedViron is heading to New Orleans for the 2026 Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, October 17–20 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. This year, we’re bringing several new products and product innovations alongside many of the medViron healthcare products designers, clinicians and healthcare facilities already know.

Introducing the Vedi Side Table
One of the newest additions to the medViron product line is the Vedi Side Table, designed primarily for the family zone of the patient room.
Its open base slides beneath compatible chairs, sofas and other furnishings, allowing the tabletop to extend comfortably over the seating area. An offset aluminum column keeps the support out of the user’s way, while the compact design makes Vedi well suited for patient rooms, waiting areas and other shared healthcare spaces.
The tabletop features durable KYDEX® thermoplastic, paired with a sturdy steel base and aluminum column. Smooth glides and lightweight construction make Vedi easy to reposition or move out of the way during routine environmental services cleaning.
A Solid Surface Option for the medViron Overbed Table
Visitors will also get their first look at the medViron Solid Surface Overbed Table, which combines the familiar functionality of our overbed table design with a 1/2-inch solid surface tabletop.
The solid surface option provides healthcare designers and facilities with another material choice for patient-room environments while retaining the height adjustability, mobility and straightforward operation of the medViron overbed table platform.
The Martello 2-Drawer Bedside Cabinet
The new Martello 2-Drawer Bedside Cabinet brings a different approach to bedside storage.
Designed for healthcare environments, the cabinet features a 1/2-inch solid surface top and two distinctly sized storage areas. The upper drawer includes a removable tub for easier cleaning, while the larger lower drawer provides room for personal belongings such as a backpack, handbag or other larger items.
Integrated USB-A and USB-C charging provides convenient access to charging at the bedside. Martello is available in seven standard colors, including five woodgrains and two solids, providing options for coordinating the cabinet with a variety of patient-room interiors.
Meet the CarePod
We will also be introducing a new accessory for our 39” Overbed Tables and 39” Sotto Overbed Tables: the CarePod.
The hospital overbed table is valuable space. Patients may use the tabletop for meals, personal belongings, reading, electronic devices and other everyday activities, while caregivers may also need convenient access to frequently used supplies.
The CarePod adds dedicated storage below the tabletop, helping keep supplies and other items accessible without unnecessarily occupying the patient’s primary tabletop space. It attaches beneath compatible 39-inch medViron overbed tables, adding storage while preserving the usable surface above.
HCD 2026 will provide the first opportunity to see the CarePod installed on a medViron overbed table and explore how the accessory can expand the functionality of the table at the bedside.
