COMMIT TO SIT

Enhancing patient satisfaction through personal connection is an important strategy in hospitals. One of the most effective approaches is the Commit to Sit program, which emphasizes the power of healthcare providers sitting with patients. These programs aim to foster better communication, build trust, and improve overall patient satisfaction. MedViron’s Martello Folding Chairs can support the success of these programs by providing ergonomic, space-saving seating for nurses and visitors.

Commit to Sit programs demonstrate how a small change like sitting down can lead to significant improvements in patient care. With medViron’s Martello Folding Chairs, hospitals can easily implement this initiative while ensuring that both caregivers and family members have the support they need to foster meaningful interactions. With an investment in Martello Folding Chairs, hospitals can make certain that patients feel truly heard and cared for.

CLEANBILITY, DURABILITY, EASE OF USE

MedViron’s Martello Folding Chair was designed for hospital patient rooms to serve as a convenient, additional seat. The chair is lightweight, and comes with a hanging bracket that allows it to be hung securely on walls, the side of cabinets, or behind doors when not in use. This feature maximizes space and contributes to a clutter-free patient room.  The chair may also be used throughout the hospital in other areas, such as Emergency and MRI suites.

Durability and Longevity
The Martello Folding Chair is manufactured using HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) which is highly resistant to moisture, impact, and chemicals, making it ideal for hospital furniture that must withstand frequent cleaning and heavy use. Its longevity reduces the need for frequent replacements, cutting down on material waste and overall resource consumption.

Infection Control and Hygiene
HDPE is non-porous, meaning it doesn’t absorb liquids, reducing the risk of bacterial or viral contamination. It can withstand harsh hospital-grade disinfectants without degrading, ensuring a longer product lifecycle and improved patient safety. Unlike wood or laminate materials, HDPE won’t swell, crack, or delaminate when exposed to moisture or cleaning chemicals.
